Paula Moreno, member of TA Youth and former student of Santa Teresa Vista Hermosa School in Alicante, Spain, responds to the question: What is the Teresian Association for me?
For me, the Teresian Association is many things … But I would say that the TA is home, a place where God dwells and calls me and invites us to build a world that is a little more just, more human, something better. A place to give voice to those who can hardly be heard or have no voice.”
The Teresian Association is, and I want it to always be, a place where we can share, where we can be ourselves, and learn from others and with others.
My time at school was very significant. It was important to have a good and close relationship with colleagues, teachers and the administration. One of the most significant things was growing up with special education students.
I also highlight having been part of InteRed, where I learned about society and I was able to join volunteer activities. I am also part of TA Youth.
Today I can say that the Teresian Association is a family. And family is a place where one receives love and is able to give it away. I am at this moment in my life: I have received a lot and I feel strong and motivated enough to return it. I am trying to return what I received.
Paula Moreno is currently studying Psychology and Education in Madrid, Spain.
